Overview
The Velocity Racing 4E-FTE Coil Adapter Plate is a billet aluminium bracket that mounts Honda K-series coil-on-plug (COP) coils to the Toyota 4E-FTE, replacing the OEM distributor-cap and single-coil ignition. Running one coil per cylinder delivers a stronger, more stable spark that holds up under boost and high RPM where the aging distributor cap and rotor start to arc and break down.
Aimed at turbo Starlet GT and Glanza V (EP82/EP91) builds chasing more boost, it swaps the tired distributor ignition for cheap, plentiful and proven K-series coils, a popular COP upgrade path in the 4E-FTE community.

InstallRemove the OEM distributor cap and HT leads; the distributor housing is normally retained to provide the ECU trigger signal unless a crank trigger is fitted. Wiring and tuning required, confirm for your setup.
Designed for Honda K-series coil-on-plug coils (sold separately) and a standalone ECU capable of direct-fire ignition, the factory Toyota ECU cannot drive COP. Confirm exact plate fitment, coil model and trigger setup for your build before ordering.
