The network is the business

There is no DMS warehouse, and that is deliberate. No shelf of parts quietly going obsolete while the builds they were bought for move on without them.

What DMS has instead is direct relationships with the people who make and distribute performance parts — built the slow way, in person, in the places those companies actually operate from. That is the asset. A warehouse depreciates. A supplier who picks up the phone does not.

It is also why DMS is not bounded by geography. A network works the same whether the car is on the next street or in the next hemisphere.

Ordered for your car, not for a shelf

Every part is bought for a specific engine in a specific build. Nothing is sold from stock, because nothing is held in stock.

That trades speed for honesty. You get the current revision of a part rather than whatever version happened to be bought two years ago, and the catalogue is not capped at what someone once guessed would sell. What you give up is instant dispatch — so you are told the lead time before you commit, not after.

The most expensive part is the one that does not fit

Before anything is ordered, fitment gets checked against your engine, your chassis, your setup. Not a compatibility table — an actual conversation about what you are building.

I would rather talk someone out of a part than sell them the wrong one. It costs a sale and saves a build.

My own build

A Proton Satria running a 4G92 SOHC, turbocharged on a TD04L — a bolt-on conversion, not a factory turbo car.

None of that arrived as a kit. A turbo setup on a single-cam 4G92 is assembled out of parts that were never designed to meet each other, from manufacturers that have never heard of one another, and every piece has to be sourced and then made to agree with the rest. It is the same problem DMS solves for other people's cars. That is why the fitment conversation here is not a formality.
