Adds a CAN bus port to your Link PlugIn ECU — plugs onto the 5-pin JST header on the board and breaks CAN out to a sealed DTM4 connector.
The Link CANJST (part 101-0197) is a plug-and-play CAN connection cable for Link G4+/G4X PlugIn ECUs. It plugs onto the 5-pin white JST CAN header on the ECU's circuit board and routes the CAN bus out to a sealed Deutsch DTM4 male connector, with 12V and ground supplied via a flying lead. Twisted-pair CAN wiring keeps the signal clean, and it clicks together with little to no soldering or crimping.
Use it to give a Link PlugIn ECU a CAN bus connection so you can run a CAN dash, keypad, CAN Lambda or other CAN devices. The DTM4 output mates directly with Link's CAN accessories such as the CANEXT extension and CANTEE splitter cable.
Confirm your Link PlugIn ECU has the 5-pin JST CAN header. ECUs with a 4-pin white CAN connector (e.g. S2000 AP1, WRX V5-6, DC5/RSX, WRX11, MX5 NB1/NB2) need the CANJST4 (101-0198) instead.
5-pin JST version only. Not compatible with 4-pin CAN connector ECUs, which require the CANJST4. Check the CAN connector on your ECU board before ordering.
Returns will be accepted for up to 10 days of Customer’s receipt or tracking number on unworn items. You, as a Customer, are obliged to inform us via email before you return the item, only in the case of:
– Received the wrong item.
– Item arrived not as expected (ie. damaged packaging).
– Item had defects.
– Over delivery time.
– The shipper does not allow the goods to be inspected before payment.
The returned product(s) must be in the original packaging, safety wrapped, undamaged and unworn. This means that the item(s) must be safely packed in a carton box for protection during transport, possibly the same carton used to ship to you as a customer.
