Opens early at 68°C to keep your Honda B-series cooler under hard driving, cutting heat-related power loss on the circuit.
The Spoon Sports Low Temperature Thermostat is a genuine performance replacement for Honda B-series cooling systems. It begins opening at roughly 68°C — well before the OEM 76-80°C — and reaches full flow by about 81°C, circulating coolant sooner to hold engine temperatures down during hard street and track use.
Ideal for modified, high-output or track-driven B16, B18 and B20 engines where controlling coolant temperature protects power and reliability. A flow-control-type valve resists temperature hunting for quicker, more stable warm-up and running temps.
Confirm exact engine and chassis (e.g. B16A / B16B / B18C, EG / EK / DC2) before ordering; also listed for some D / F / H engines.
Thermostat only — a lower opening temp will not fix an undersized cooling system; confirm whether a rubber seal is needed separately.
Return within 7 days of purchase, provided the item is unused and in its original condition and packaging. Taxes are non-refundable.
