Overview
The engine control unit (ECU), also called the engine control module (ECM), is the main computer that runs the Perodua Bezza's engine — managing fuel injection, ignition timing, VVT-i and idle control. This is an OEM-specification plug-in replacement for the factory unit, matched to the Bezza's 1.0 litre 1KR-VE (3-cyl) or 1.3 litre 1NR-VE (4-cyl) engine and ordered by the correct 89560- OEM part number.
For Bezza owners replacing a failed, water-damaged or faulty ECU with a like-for-like OEM unit. It is a direct plug-in replacement for the original computer — NOT a standalone, piggyback or tuning ECU, and it does not add power. On fitment a new unit normally needs ECU coding and immobiliser/key registration to the car by a specialist (unless supplied pre-cloned to your original).
