A Hitachi 70mm drive-by-wire throttle body — the built-in motor and dual TPS let a DBW-capable ECU meter airflow with no cable.
This is a Hitachi 70mm drive-by-wire (electronic) throttle body. In place of a throttle cable, an integrated DC motor drives the throttle blade on command from the ECU, while dual throttle position sensors report the exact blade angle back for closed-loop, redundant (fail-safe) control.
Built for standalone-ECU engine swaps and forced-induction builds that run electronic throttle control. With no cable to route, the ECU manages idle, cruise and throttle-based strategies directly — provided your ECU supports drive-by-wire and you run a matching DBW pedal.
DBW throttles need an ECU that supports drive-by-wire control and the matching pedal/connector — tell us your setup and we'll confirm.
Not a bolt-on for cable/OEM cable-throttle setups. Your ECU must support drive-by-wire and be calibrated to this throttle, and you need a compatible DBW pedal. Donor application, connector and part number are unconfirmed.
Returns will be accepted for up to 10 days of Customer’s receipt or tracking number on unworn items. You, as a Customer, are obliged to inform us via email before you return the item, only in the case of:
– Received the wrong item.
– Item arrived not as expected (ie. damaged packaging).
– Item had defects.
– Over delivery time.
– The shipper does not allow the goods to be inspected before payment.
The returned product(s) must be in the original packaging, safety wrapped, undamaged and unworn. This means that the item(s) must be safely packed in a carton box for protection during transport, possibly the same carton used to ship to you as a customer.
