Forged from 2618-T61 aluminum — the ductile, low-silica alloy CP-Carrillo runs in boosted, high-pressure race builds.
The CP-Carrillo Single Forged Piston is an individual replacement piston forged from 2618-T61 aluminum, the same low-silica, high-ductility alloy CP-Carrillo uses across its race and high-performance engine programs. Sold as a single unit to replace one damaged piston or complete an existing set, it is engineered to survive the elevated cylinder pressures of turbocharged, supercharged and high-RPM applications where cast or hypereutectic pistons typically fail.
Aimed at engine builders and tuners rebuilding a forged bottom end, buying a single piston lets you replace one damaged slug instead of an entire set — provided it matches the original part number, bore, compression height and pin diameter of your existing pistons. CP-Carrillo components are manufactured in Irvine, California from USA-made material and are Magnaflux (MPI) crack-inspected during production.
Must match your engine's exact bore, compression height, pin diameter and part number — confirm before ordering.
Sold as a single piston, not a full set; CP-Carrillo pistons carry no warranty of merchantability or fitness for purpose.
